25 Ways to Save at the Pump

GasTony and I drive 40 miles a day commuting to/from work. The distance, combined with our gas-guzzling SUV, along with the news of gas prices rising to over $4 per gallon is almost enough to convince us to pay the $8.50 per person round trip it would cost us to take the Coaster. However, maybe this list can help alleviate that pain. Some I already knew about, such as #7:

Don’t overbuy. Unless your owner’s manual says you must use a higher grade (which very few cars actually do), buy regular gasoline. Costlier high-octane gas does not improve the performance of your vehicle.
However, there are quite a few tips there, ranging from maintenance to driving habits. Definitely worth checking out!
