Happy Thanksgiving! Here’s an Xbox 360…

Filed under: Games, In Real Life

Xbox 360Sources from three retailers have reported to IGN that the Xbox 360 will be released on Friday, November 25… yes, the day after Thanksgiving, and yes, the day that is also known as Black Friday. Will they have midnight release parties for people who aren’t sleeping off the food they’ve just ingested? Somehow, I don’t think so…

So *this* is why RPGs are so popular…

World of WarcraftTactic “The Dirty Dwarf” Gedran gets bored one day and decides to explore the Deeprun Tram on a WoW PvP server. What does he find in the dark, but 2 night elves… naked! He quietly moves in a little closer to find out what they’re up to, when he overhears:

Artemisa groans softly, biting your neck softly, her breath hard against your neck. “Oh…”
So what does he do with this sudden invasion of privacy? Why, he’s playing a RPG in a role-playing realm, so he does what any typical guy would do in this situation:
Intrigued by this fantastic “roleplaying” experience, I felt it was my duty to perpetuate the general merriment of all. So I gathered my composure and began to engage in my own “roleplaying” theatrics.

Gedran reveals his head from the shadows and begins to unzip his pantaloons.

Unfortunately, the exposed couple don’t find it funny. After an exchange of words, the caught male says to our narrator (this is the best part, by the way):
You sir… are a dirty bastard of a dwarf… and I hope your mother is raped [by] a troll, and then killed and brought up among the ranks of the undead so that I may kill her myself… good day.
All he was doing was roleplaying like they were, right? =) Freakin’ hilarious. For the whole story, including screenshots, click here.
